We build focused tools for the practical, often invisible work of educational settings. Each one earns its place by being obviously useful before it is anything else.
Software earns its place by saving real time on a real task. If it doesn't, it's noise. We'd rather ship one tool that genuinely helps than five that look impressive in a demo.
No AI hype, no buzzwords, no "transformative paradigms". We write the way teachers and bursars actually speak, and we expect our software to do the same.
We make tools for the people who run schools and nurseries because we've sat in those staff rooms. Every feature comes from a real problem we've watched somebody try to solve.
We're a small team, working quietly and carefully, on tools we wish existed when we sat on the other side of the desk.
If you run a nursery, school, or trust and have a problem you'd pay someone to solve — please tell us.
hello@aiforedu.co.ukTwo focused tools for nursery managers and owners. Built to take the guesswork out of pricing and capacity — without adding another login your staff don't have time to learn.
Configure your child's schedule below for an estimate of fees, including Government Early Years funding and optional sessions.
A standard nursery day runs 8:00 – 18:00 (10 hours).
Closed 24 Dec – 2 Jan and August Bank Holiday week. Monthly fees stay level across 12 months.
15 hours is universal for 3–4 year-olds. 30 hours requires both parents working and earning under £100k.
This is the calculator that sits on your nursery's website. Parents tweak the controls; the figure updates. They can see exactly how Early Years funding lowers their bill.
Behind the scenes, you set the hourly rate, your funding entitlements, your extras and your closure weeks. Acorn handles the maths and the funding rules so you don't have to.

A modern MIS that runs on natural-language queries, in-house AI drafting, and a single unified data model. Type a question; get the answer — not a spreadsheet to wrestle with.
We're working with a handful of independent schools to shape Oak before launch. If your school is interested in being one of them, leave your email and we'll be in touch.
